Robert K. Chapman; President and Chief Executive Officer of United Bancorp, Inc..  He previously served as CEO and Director of UBTW. Mr. Chapman has been with United since 2000. He is also a CPA, and brings over thirty years of experience in the financial industry. More than twenty of those years were in a financial role, and five years were spent in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Chapman has a strong background in risk management.

Todd C. Clark; President of United Bank & Trust. and Chief Banking Officer. Previously he served as President and CEO of UBTW. Mr. Clark joined United in 2000 . He has twelve years of previous experience with National City Bank, Bank One and NBD.

Executive VP & CFO

Randal J. Rabe; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of United Bancorp, Inc. and United Bank & Trust.  Mr. Rabe joined United in 2004, and has over 30 years in finance and accounting in banking and other industries.


Michael H. ChatasJeffrey Billig
Executive Vice President, Structured Finance

Jeffrey Billig: Executive Vice President; Structured Finance. Mr. Billing joined United in 2008, as a Senior Vice President, Business Banking where he was responsible for growing United’s commercial loan portfolio, as well as, playing a key role in United’s expansion in Livingston County. Before joining United, Billig held various lending positions with First National Bank, and Bank of Ann Arbor.

Gary D. Haapala; Executive Vice President of United Bancorp, Inc. and President of Wealth Management Group of United Bank & Trust. Mr. Haapala joined United in 2006. He has 21 years of experience with Fifth Third Bank and Comerica Bank.

David H. Kersch; Executive Vice President of United Bancorp, Inc. and President of Mortgage Lending. Mr. Kersch joined United in 2007 and had 14 years with National City Corp. and Bank One.

Joseph R. Williams; Executive Vice President of United Bancorp, Inc. and Lenawee Market President of United Bank & Trust; Prior to the merger of United Bank & Trust and United Bank & Trust – Washtenaw , he served as President and Director of United Bank & Trust. With United since 2003, Mr. Williams has spent his entire career working with various community banks.

Executive VP & Chief Credit Officer

Richard C. Northrup; Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer; Twenty-two years in commercial banking, including experience in small business, middle market, large corporate and international lending, as well as loan workout and credit administration. Mr. Northrup joined United in 2009, with past experience at Comerica, Standard Federal and KeyBank.

David J. Skaff; Executive VP &  Chief Business Banking Officer. Mr. Skaff joined United in 2008 as a Vice President of Business Banking, and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2010 where he took responsibility as the Business Banking Market Manager for United’s Washtenaw/Livingston market. Prior to joining United, Skaff held various leadership positions with Republic/Citizens Bank, and Michigan National Bank.

Jamie W. Guise; Executive Vice President of Marketing and Client Delivery for United; Ms. Guise joined United in 2005. Over 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising and strategic planning including five years with Carlson Marketing Group and nine years with Campbell-Ewald.
