Error Resolution Instructions for Borrowers

Your written notice of error or written information request must include your name, contact information, loan number, and a description of the error you believe has occurred or the specific information you are requesting.

If you think there has been an error made affecting the general servicing of your loan (e.g. payment posting errors, coding errors, incorrect addresses, etc.) or you have an inquiry concerning the general servicing of your loan, including the amount needed to pay off your loan, write us as soon as possible.  Send your written notice of error or written information request to:

Our Responsibilities After We Receive Your Written Request

Our goal is to respond to your written requests as soon as possible after we receive them.  If your request was for payoff information, we are required to respond within seven business days after we receive your request.  If your request was for information or to report an error, we have five business days to acknowledge your request if we can’t provide the information you requested or resolve the error.  We are required to resolve the error or provide the information you requested or notify you that there is no error or that the information you requested is not available within 30 business days.  This can be extended by an additional 15 business days if we notify you that additional time is needed to resolve the error or provide the information you requested.
