As Executive Vice President, Jeff brings his strong understanding of commercial lending in the Michigan markets of Washtenaw and Livingston counties. This knowledge coupled with his idea of finding the best solution for his clients is what sets Jeff apart from his competition. Prior to joining the Structured Finance Group, Jeff served as a Senior Vice President, Business Banking for United. While serving as SVP, Jeff used his market knowledge to consistently originate the highest volume of SBA 7a loans. His strong market knowledge also led Jeff to play a key role in United’s expansion in Livingston County. Before joining United, Jeff held various lending positions with First National Bank, and Bank of Ann Arbor. Jeff actively supports his community through his involvement with Brighton Bulldogs Football & Cheer, Community Bible Church, and the Brighton Rotary. Jeff holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from Hillsdale College and resides in Brighton with his family.

As Vice President, Jeff brings decades of experience as both a lender and a borrower representative, giving him unique insight to the lending needs of his clients. For 15 years, Jeff has held positions in the commercial banking industry—from business development to senior loan officer. Jeff develops close relationships with investment banks, life insurance companies, boutique lending and specialty finance companies, as well as agency lenders, including HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, representing borrowers for more than $1.5 billion of commercial real estate loan transactions throughout the past 11 years. Jeff holds a bachelor of science in business management from Ferris State College and resides in Ann Arbor with his family.

In his position, Kevin works in the field of Commercial Lending, specializing in Small Business Association and Investment Real Estate loans.

In her position, Elizabeth gets to work one-on-one with entrepreneurs and business owners, focusing much of her time on providing custom solutions, determining eligibility and analyzing financial documents of loan applicants.
She knows the area extremely well, having been raised in Saline. “I understand the challenges facing small business owners in Michigan," she says. "And I work to make sure all options are explored to help the client.”

For our loan applicants, Ana is responsible for determining eligibility and analyzing financial documents, and packaging loan applications to send to the SBA.
Ana is an excellent resource for partnering banks, small business owners and other referral sources that are interested in securing SBA financing. Prior to joining USF, Ana worked as a loan officer for the Michigan Certified Development Corporation (MCDC) and a residential real estate appraiser apprentice. Ana earned her bachelors degree in finance from Michigan State University and is pursuing her CPA license.

Jack’s primary role is analyzing the underlying business of our clients in order to develop unique financing solutions to satisfy their needs. Throughout the underwriting process, Jack works with clients to understand the challenges and opportunities of their business and industry in order to put them in the best possible situation going forward. After the loan process is complete, he remains engaged with client by assisting with servicing requests as needed. Jack has a bachelor of science in finance from Michigan State University and lives in Northville.

Megan is responsible for working with clients during the loan application and approval process to provide a seamless lending experience.
Megan manages the collection of all necessary documentation required for financial analysis and approval of loans. Her involvement with our clients, as well as our credit team, ensures quick, smooth loan closings. Before joining the USF team, Megan worked for ABN AMRO for more than a decade. She earned her bachelor of science in arts management from Eastern Michigan University. Megan is an active member of Therapy Dogs Inc. and a volunteer at Silver Maples retirement community. She resides in Chelsea with her husband, Rich, and their two Labrador Retrievers.
